  10.         Damn. I tried the last wiring method posted here, (See
  11. below.). It doesn't work. I'm begining to wonder if this project
  12. has ever worked? Here's what happens:

  14. I start 1541P.COM, and the drive starts spinning.
  15. I type "$",I get the ever useful error message "Bad
  16. Connect!!". The drive stops on exit.
  17.

  19.         What's the deal ? My computer cannot
  20. be too fast, as I used a piece of software and set it up from
  21. 2.6Mhz all the way to 120Mhz, and the bugger didn't work then
  22. either. The only thing I can think of of the top of my head is
  23. that my Enhanced Parrell port isn't compat. I was once told that
  24. the output voltages are slightly different on the EP Port ? I also
  25. have it configured via. jumper to run with Bi-Directional support,
  26. as the Spectrum emulator needs it.

  28.         Also, why is SqrIn from the C1541 not connected ? 
  29.  
  30.         With the simplified version of the cable (Below.) the motor
  31. functions seem to work better (They even work at all !), BUT Star
  32. Commander cannot see the drive in that when I do 'Right' and
  33. connect drive, there is only A-H, and NO 9-11. What's that about
  34. then ?
